Gibby Center for the Arts

Welcome to the Gilbert W. Perry, Jr. Center for the Arts in Middletown, Delaware. Owned and operated by The Everett, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation,
Gibby Center is designed to serve the visual arts needs of our multi-cultural community. The Center opened in the fall of 2006 and offered  its first session of art classes.
Art exhibits were added in the fall of 2007 when the gallery in the front of the building was completed.

The Gibby strives to engage people in our community in creating, appreciating and supporting the visual arts.

Over the years, the Center has added Summer Art Camps and workshops for adults as well as children. Art exhibits have included student works from the
Appoquinimink School District; art by several winners of the Delaware Artists Fellowship; themed group exhibits open to the community of artists; and works by
many well know Delaware and regional artists.

The Gift Shoppe offers an opportunity for people to invest in original art, jewelry, pottery, and other fine handcrafted items as well as giving local artists a venue for
their works.

More recently the Center has opened its doors to the talented theatrical members of Middletown and the surrounding area. Cabarets, children musicals, dramatic
readings, and set production keep the
Gibby Art Center hopping.
